Phenolic composite air duct

    The middle layer of phenolic composite duct is phenolic foam, and the inner and outer layer is embossed aluminum foil composite. The traditional air supply pipe of central air conditioning is usually made of iron sheet or glass steel in the inner layer, wrapped with insulation material, and wound with aluminum foil on the outside, which makes the air supply pipe self-heavy, time-consuming and time-consuming in construction and installation, poor appearance, low air tightness, and high energy consumption. Compared with traditional air ducts, phenolic composite air ducts have the following advantages:

1. Good insulation, can greatly reduce the heat loss of air conditioning

The thermal conductivity of phenolic composite duct is 0.016~0.036W/ (m·k), while the thermal conductivity of galvanized steel duct and FRP duct is much larger. In addition, the unique connection mode of phenolic composite duct ensures the excellent air tightness of the ventilation system, which is close to 8 times that of galvanized steel duct. Some data show that when conveying the same amount of heat (cold), the heat loss of galvanized steel duct is 15%, the heat loss of FRP duct is 8%, and the heat loss of phenolic foam insulation material duct is less than 2%.

2. Good noise reduction.

The interlayer of phenolic aluminum foil composite duct wall is porous phenolic foam material board through each other, which has good noise reduction performance. In the central air conditioning system, the noise generated by the air conditioning unit during operation is in the range of 50 ~ 79dB, which is transmitted through the air supply pipeline to form indoor noise. The phenolic aluminum foil composite duct itself is a good tubular muffler, and there is no need to set up muffler accessories such as muffler covers and muffler elbows.

3. Light weight, can reduce the building load, and easy to install

The weight of phenolic aluminum foil composite duct is light, about 1.4kg /㎡, while the volume weight of galvanized steel duct (0.8mm thick) and fiberglass duct (3mm thick) is 7.08kg /㎡ and 15~20 kg/㎡, respectively, which can greatly reduce the load of the building, and is extremely beneficial to the installation of the duct. When installing, you only need to set a bracket every 4 m or so to have enough support. This greatly reduces the bearing capacity requirements of supports, hangings, etc., making transportation and installation very convenient.

4. Durable, long service life

Galvanized steel is easier to rust in a humid environment, FRP is easy to age, easy to damage, so the service life of the traditional air duct is not long, about 5 to 10 years, the service life of the traditional air duct outsourcing insulation layer, such as glass wool, is only 5 years, and the service life of the phenolic aluminum foil composite air duct is at least 20 years. Therefore, the service life of phenolic aluminum foil composite air duct is more than 3 times that of traditional air duct. In addition, the reuse rate of phenolic aluminum foil composite duct can reach 60% to 80%, while the traditional duct can hardly be reused.

5. Lower the height

The traditional air duct requires on-site insulation construction, so it requires a certain construction height, which puts additional requirements on the height of the building. Phenolic aluminum foil composite air duct does not need to carry out on-site insulation construction, so there is no need to reserve construction space, which can reduce the height of the building.

6. Shorten the construction period

Phenolic aluminum foil composite air duct is light in weight and convenient to install than traditional air duct. When hoisting the air duct, the required hanger is simple, the number is small, and almost no machinery is used. Simple production, completely break through the traditional process, greatly shorten the construction period, site changes are also very convenient. According to on-site calculations, each worker can install 20.0~30.0 ㎡ a day when the phenolic aluminum foil composite duct is installed, while the traditional duct is only 4.0~5.0 ㎡/ (day · person). Compared with the traditional duct manufacturing, the production efficiency of the phenolic aluminum foil composite duct is increased by 4 ~5 times.

7. Hygiene

The surface of phenolic aluminum foil composite air duct is sealed with aluminum foil, thus ensuring the health of the conveying medium, avoiding secondary pollution, and the inner layer is free from condensation and rust. In the traditional air duct, glass wool and asbestos are easy to absorb moisture, and the thermal insulation performance is seriously deteriorated after water absorption, and asbestos is a carcinogen, glass wool dust will stimulate the skin and make the construction personnel itch. In addition, galvanized steel pipe is easy to rust, and it is easy to produce cold bridge phenomenon.

8. Beautiful, suitable for plain clothing

Phenolic aluminum foil composite air duct can be made of various colors, beautiful, especially suitable for open installation. The surface of the traditional air duct needs to be wrapped in aluminum foil on the spot, so the clear installation effect is not very good.
